Hey. I'm really glad you're here.

I mean that. Out of everywhere you could have landed today, you ended up here, and I don't think that's an accident.

I need you to know something first. You are loved. Not the highlight reel version of you, not the put together version, not the version that has it all figured out. You, right now, exactly as you are, are loved.

Life can be such a relentless, exhausting, unfair experience sometimes. There are seasons that feel so dark and so heavy that it genuinely feels like it will never get better. I know that feeling. I have sat in it. I have been in a place where I had to make a choice between staying and leaving this world, and I chose to stay. Some days that choice was hard. But I am so glad I made it, because the sun did come back. It always does.

And it will for you too.

You deserve sunshine. You deserve good days and belly laughs and moments that make you think okay, this is why I stayed. Those moments are coming for you, even when everything in you says they aren't.
